Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as the scrub person during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and optimal patient safety
Prepare and organize case carts according to preference cards, gathering all necessary instruments and supplies
Communicate effectively with operating room and sterile processing staff to coordinate instrumentation and minimize turnover delays
Review daily surgical schedule with charge nurse and sterile processing coordinator to anticipate needs and resolve scheduling issues
Act as a resource for supply and instrument procurement for both scheduled and emergency cases
Coordinate with materials management team to ensure proper supply utilization and deployment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military program
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in surgical technique and human anatomy
Knowledge of surgical procedures and implementation of tools and technologies
Strong communication skills for team collaboration
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
