Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Shift 1, 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM, 30-minute meal break; days and weekends may vary per facility needs

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
Support residents' emotional and social well-being through meaningful interactions

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 6 months of experience as a CNA in a long-term care or hospital setting
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely
Proficient in taking vital signs and documenting care
