Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday? Actually 4-10 hour days, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM + call (days vary, but typical weekday schedule)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology suite
Assist with TEE and cardioversion procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Circulate during interventional cases and manage pre- and post-procedure care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
Flex into the IR role as needed, supporting a variety of interventional procedures
Take call as part of a rotation, responding promptly to emergent cases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Maine (or compact state) required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
Experience with TEE, cardioversion, circulating, and pre/post care mandatory
Must be within 20-30 minutes of the hospital for call response
Proof of influenza vaccination as mandated by State of Maine

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
Strong knowledge of TEE and cardioversion techniques
Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration abilities
