Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Mishawaka, Indiana

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 - $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
Prepare and assemble surgical trays
Monitor sterilization processes and maintain records
Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality
Collaborate with surgical teams to meet supply needs

Qualifications

Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) preferred
Prior experience in a sterile processing environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a sterile processing training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
Ability to operate sterilization equipment
Team player with excellent communication skills
