Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety
Document care provided and communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and residents
Support patients with meals and hydration as needed

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Must have a valid state or federally issued identification
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Time management skills to handle multiple patients efficiently
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
