Location: Salida, CO

Start Date: 06-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM, holiday coverage may be required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform daily dialysis care and supervision for in-center, acute, and peritoneal dialysis patients
Conduct pre, ongoing, and post assessments, maintaining accountability for patient outcomes
Operate dialysis machinery with advanced technical skills, setting parameters and monitoring readings
Access fistulas and shunts with precision to prevent clot formation
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
Minimum 6 months of Hemodialysis experience required
Current CPR certification (BLS/BCLS)
Current ACLS certification
PALS certification preferred
Must be able to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday shifts including holiday coverage

Education

Nursing diploma or Associate's degree in nursing
BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in hemodialysis, including acute and peritoneal dialysis
Proficient in patient assessment and monitoring
Skilled in fistula and shunt access and care
Competent in dialysis machine operation and troubleshooting
Strong communication and documentation skills
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
