Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 10-hour shifts (4 days per week), with on-call rotation covering every 4-5th weekend and one weeknight per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert perioperative care for orthopedic and neurosurgery patients
Circulate and scrub in the operating room to ensure smooth procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia team to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain strict aseptic technique and sterile field
Manage on-call responsibilities including weekend and weeknight coverage
Uphold facility performance expectations and deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Active Nebraska RN license (or compact) required
Minimum 2 years of OR experience including orthopedics and neurosurgery
Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience highly valued
Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
Ability to take call including weekends and weeknights

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing procedures
Expertise in orthopedic and neurosurgery instrumentation
Skill in sterile technique and infection control
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
