Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for veterans
Help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Educate patients and families on exercise programs and home safety
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Oklahoma
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
Experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred
Prior DOR experience highly valued
Compassionate and patient-focused approach

Education

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Proficiency in documentation and EHR systems
