Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, first to float

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $94.94 - $70.7 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert emergency care to patients with diverse conditions
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
Triage incoming patients and manage critical situations calmly
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
Float to other Sacramento facilities as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active California RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips with confidence
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing and trauma care expertise
Proficiency in Cerner electronic medical records
Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Patient assessment, triage, and rapid decision-making
Familiarity with behavioral health and fast-track processes
