Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 06-28-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts with 30-minute meal break) - schedule varies per diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to supervising RN
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately and timely
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

Qualifications

Valid Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Previous LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Medication administration and dosage calculations
Wound care and phlebotomy skills
Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
