Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in a mental health setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California (or compact privilege)
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
At least 1 year of recent experience in an inpatient or mental health setting preferred
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities
