Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night Shift, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (includes 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the care team
Collaborate with RNs and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing procedures, medication administration, and patient care standards
Skill in using electronic health records and medical equipment
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on resident well-being
