Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (as needed, with 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes to the RN or physician
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting independence
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing procedures, safety protocols, and infection control
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent observational and assessment skills
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
