Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem shifts, including 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in an urgent care setting
Assess, triage, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures, and educate patients on follow-up care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency nursing experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EHR systems and point-of-care testing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of urgent care procedures and protocols
Patient education and advocacy skills
