Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in C-sections and other OR procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique to keep patients safe
• Set up and break down vaginal delivery and OR suite equipment and supplies with efficiency and care
• Stock and check supplies for LDRP and OR suites, performing daily unit checks to keep the unit running smoothly
• Assist and attend vaginal deliveries as needed, providing hands-on support to the obstetrics team
• Be available for emergencies and urgent situations with calm, competent action
• Support unit operations with light clerical duties such as answering phones and doors when needed
• Chart appropriately in EPIC to ensure accurate, timely patient records

Qualifications

• Washington State license required at time of submittal
• BLS (AHA) current and valid
• C-section experience required — demonstrated OR/OB surgical tech skills
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (per job details)
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, primarily nights with occasional day flex

Knowledge & Skills

• Sterile technique and OR best practices
• Experience in LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) and OR suite workflows
• Setting up and breaking down delivery and surgical equipment
• Stocking supplies and performing daily unit checks
• EPIC charting experience
• Ability to assist effectively in emergency/urgent situations
• Basic clerical skills: answering phones, handling doors, supporting unit communication
