Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support activities of daily living
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to the nursing team
Complete timely and accurate documentation of care provided
Respect patient dignity and privacy while delivering hands-on care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (California) required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per site
Ability to safely perform transfers and basic patient care
Comfortable working overnight shifts and short-notice per-diem assignments
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and ADLs
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe lifting/transfer techniques and mobility assistance
Infection prevention and proper PPE use
Clear verbal and written communication with patients and staff
Basic documentation skills; attention to detail and time management
