Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care on a busy 36-bed Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg unit
Monitor telemetry patients and respond swiftly to changes
Perform wound vac changes, IV insertions, and foley catheter placements
Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs
Manage advanced equipment like chest tubes, PCA pumps, and epidurals
Prioritize patient needs with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Float to nearby units to keep your skills sharp and help where needed most

Qualifications

Active RN nursing license in good standing
At least 1 year of Med-Surg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ready to thrive in a fast-paced trauma and ortho environment

Education

RN nursing degree from accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring expertise
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Team player attitude with excellent time management
Proficiency with wound care, IVs, and specialized pumps
