Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical ventilation for adult and neonatal patients, ensuring safe and effective respiratory support
• Deliver surfactant during deliveries as needed and provide specialized neonatal respiratory care
• Operate and troubleshoot PB 840 and Dräger ventilators with confidence
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Support unit needs across areas and shifts, pitching in where patient ratios vary
• Contribute to unit quality and safety initiatives to keep care standards high

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)
• Minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience (as listed)
• Experience with adult patient care and Level 3 NICU care (required)
• Familiarity with PB 840 and Dräger ventilators and surfactant administration (preferred)
• Comfort working nights and possible weekends; team oriented and adaptable

• Mechanical ventilation management for adult and neonatal patients
• Neonatal respiratory care and surfactant administration
• Meditech EMR documentation and workflows
• Experience with PB 840 ventilator and Dräger ventilators
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork and communication skills
