Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and comfortable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float to sister units when needed, bringing your expertise wherever it is most valued
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers welcome with a supportive 2-day orientation
Driver's license required at submission to confirm 50-mile radius eligibility
Must be EPIC-experienced or willing to learn quickly

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
ICP monitoring and insulin/cardizem titration
Strong teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and genuine patient advocacy
Comfort floating between PCU and Med-Surg units
