Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and Cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform real-time hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators to create seamless care plans
Float within similar care levels to support unit needs while broadening your clinical experience
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make every patient feel seen and supported

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz)
Comfort with insulin and Cardizem titration
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in a mixed PCU/Med-Surg setting
Ability to thrive in a culturally diverse patient population
