Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Monitor and titrate drips such as insulin and Cardizem while providing expert hemodynamic oversight
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians to create individualized care plans
Float to same-level-of-care units to support colleagues and expand your clinical skill set
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make every patient feel seen and supported
Administer chemotherapy and other complex medications with precision and empathy

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Comfortable with Alaris IV pumps and specialty lift devices
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for mixed PCU/Med-Surg/Oncology population
Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for patient-centered care
