Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required; 30-minute call response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth, safe operations
Prepare operating rooms and assist with robotic and GI cases using Epic documentation
Respond promptly to on-call needs, providing critical support during evenings, weekends, and holidays
Mentor new staff during orientation and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS certification required
Robot and GI experience preferred
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Epic electronic medical records
Comfortable with robotic and laparoscopic procedures
Knowledge of general, orthopedic, gynecologic, and podiatry cases
Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced OR setting
