Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses and oncology resource RNs
Float to other MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed to support patient care across the facility
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and complete required skills validations
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery expectations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification preferred
Cerner EMR experience
Strong telemetry and oncology nursing background
Ability to pass pre-employment skills validation including sterile field techniques

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology and telemetry patient care expertise
Cardiac rhythm interpretation and EKG analysis
Chemotherapy administration knowledge
Sterile field maintenance and infection control
Cerner electronic medical records proficiency
Patient education and family communication skills
