Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied shifts with on-call required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures within the Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical instruments
- Ensure proper handling of specimens and equipment
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education
Qualifications
- Current CST certification required
- BLS certification from AHA
- Experience in CVOR or surgical tech role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
- Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs
- Proficiency in maintaining a sterile field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
