Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate patient bed placement across multiple hospitals using TeleTracking and Cerner
Assign patients to appropriate units based on medical needs and bed availability
Apply critical thinking to ensure bed requests align with patient condition, escalating issues to charge or leadership
Communicate effectively with ED, nursing leadership, and other departments via multiple platforms
Manage three screens and multiple applications simultaneously to optimize bed assignments

Qualifications

Active RN, LVN, or CNA license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience required
Proficiency with TeleTracking and Cerner EMR systems
Strong computer skills including Zoom and Google applications
Excellent multitasking and customer service abilities
Knowledge of different hospital units (MedSurg, Tele, ICU, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of acute care units and appropriate bed placement
Critical thinking to assess bed requests and escalate as needed
Experience with multiple software applications simultaneously
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members
