Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries
- Assist surgeons during complex cardiac procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure sterile environment
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Provide pre and post-operative education to patients and families
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
