Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert, compassionate care to premature infants and newborns with complex cardiac, genetic, and surgical needs
Monitor and manage patients requiring ECMO, cooling therapy, and ventilatory support
Collaborate with neonatologists and mid-level providers available 24/7 to deliver the highest level of neonatal intensive care
Float to mother-baby and labor-care units to support healthy newborns when census allows
Maintain strict sterile technique during procedures and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced Level 4 NICU environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Cardiac STABLE certification preferred
Minimum 3 years of Level 3 or 4 NICU experience
Previous travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner electronic medical record system
Phillips telemetry monitoring
Strong sterile-field technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Comfort managing vents, ECMO, and therapeutic hypothermia patients
Excellent communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary NICU setting
