Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and brain tumor resection
Partner closely with patients and families to support their healing journey
Administer IV therapy, wound care, and other essential acute MedSurg treatments
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and rehab specialists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed to support the broader hospital team
Maintain sterile technique during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
Comfortable with high-level communication and personal involvement with patients and families

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR experience
Neuro rehab patient population expertise
Strong sterile field technique for procedures
Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, team-oriented environment
