Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient conditions with attention to detail
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document care clearly and promptly in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy during the night hours

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
Experience working per diem or night shifts preferred
Comfortable working with MST (as applicable to the unit) and demonstrated clinical judgment
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for acute care scenarios
Medication administration and IV/infusion experience
Proficient charting and documentation practices; comfortable with electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize and respond effectively during busy night shift periods
