Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Document patient interactions clearly and collaborate with nurses and care staff
Bring positive energy and patient-centered focus to every shift

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-required license)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and standing for extended periods
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Able to pass background check and drug screening as required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, toileting, feeding assistance, and mobility support
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and patient observations
Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
Basic charting skills and ability to follow care plans
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to de-escalate stressful situations
