Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry channels and promptly identify cardiac rhythm changes
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to telemetry patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per orders
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses clearly and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure smooth patient transitions

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in California (or compact state authorization)
• Experience working on telemetry units preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS and telemetry certification a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN or BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• IV medication administration and electronic medication records
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and escalating concerns
• Familiarity with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety practices
• Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings and prioritizing care
