Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support for acute patients using Servo I, GE ventilators, V60 and similar devices
• Deliver high-quality respiratory care interventions including therapy, aerosol delivery and oxygen therapy (Airvo, Vapotherm)
• Assess respiratory status and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
• Document accurately in the EMR (Meditech) and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Respond effectively to respiratory emergencies and participate in codes and critical care procedures
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans, equipment use and discharge needs

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• NRP or STABLE certification (must-have — candidates without these will not be considered)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• ICU experience preferred
• 2 or more years of relevant respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR and a variety of ventilators/equipment preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Mechanical ventilation management and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Servo I, GE ventilators and V60
• Familiarity with high-flow devices like Airvo and Vapotherm
• Proficient documentation skills in Meditech EMR
• Strong critical thinking, assessment and emergency response skills
• Neonatal stabilization knowledge (NRP/STABLE) where applicable
