Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care consistent with LPN/RN scope
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical changes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection-control protocols
• Complete timely and accurate electronic charting and handoffs
• Support facility initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
• Eligible to practice in New Mexico (state license or applicable compact status)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working per-diem day shifts with a 6:00 AM start
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Previous clinical experience preferred; open to confident clinicians ready to contribute

Education

• LPN: Vocational diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Basic wound care and dressing changes
• Charting in electronic health record systems
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Professional communication with patients, families, and care teams
