Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluation and treatment planning tailored to each patient's goals
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document progress and outcomes clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies
• Recommend and train patients on assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• OTR/L credential preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Master's or entry-level OTD in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent accredited degree)

Knowledge & Skills

• Assessment and treatment of ADLs, mobility, and functional independence
• Skilled in documentation, care planning, and outcome measurement
• Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing, PT, SLP, and other team members
• Time management and caseload prioritization
