Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Sandia Ridge Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Monitor and record patient conditions, reporting changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Perform skilled nursing tasks such as wound care and vital sign assessments
• Collaborate with CNAs, RNs and other clinical staff to create effective care plans
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (New Mexico license preferred or eligibility to obtain NM LPN)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma/certificate)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts (Wednesday–Friday) and adapting to a travel assignment
• Strong clinical judgment, reliable documentation skills, and professional communication

Education

• LPN diploma or completion of an accredited practical nursing program

• Medication administration and safety practices
• Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
• Wound care and basic restorative nursing skills
• Electronic health record documentation and charting accuracy
• Infection control procedures and safe clinical practice
