Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
• Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and safety while building trust
• Document care and observations clearly and promptly in patient records
• Support the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Comfortable with patient handling and basic clinical procedures
• Strong communication skills and a caring, team-oriented attitude
• Previous patient care experience preferred but new grads with training are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Team collaboration and following care plans
