Shift Type: Tuesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight into Wednesday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Assess patients regularly and document changes in condition clearly and promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, telemetry monitoring, and discharge plans
Act promptly in emergencies and escalate concerns to providers when necessary

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license as applicable
Telemetry nursing experience preferred; recent telemetry exposure a strong plus
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Skilled in IV medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to use electronic medical records for charting and order management
Competence in patient assessment, triage, and escalation processes
Calm, decisive critical thinking during urgent situations
