Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality telemetry nursing care to assigned patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to telemetry alerts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications and discharge plans
• Maintain clear, timely communication with physicians and other clinical staff
• Ensure adherence to facility policies, safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Telemetry experience, comfortable with cardiac monitoring and interpretation
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Prior acute care or telemetry unit experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring systems and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Patient assessment, triage and escalation procedures
• Electronic health record (EHR) charting and documentation
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-service orientation and compassionate bedside manner
