Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the daytime shift
Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes promptly
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, effective care
Document patient care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge goals
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California or eligibility to obtain one
Current BLS certification; ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred
Previous clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Able to pass facility onboarding and orientation requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
Comfort working with interdisciplinary teams and unit workflows
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Compassionate patient education and bedside manner
