Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced ER environment
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely interventions
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage life-saving equipment
Document patient care accurately and advocate for patient needs
Support patients and families with clear communication and emotional reassurance

Qualifications

Active California RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
PALS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and triage
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to stay calm and effective in high-stress situations
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes and acuity
