Location: Skowhegan, ME
Start Date: 07-06-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift, 10:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Shift 3, includes 30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and families
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment and nursing interventions
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Empathy and patience in caring for diverse patient populations
