RN Emergency Department Nights

Location: Kansas City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 11-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating days including weekends and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced ER environment
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patient vitals, interpret telemetry, and respond to emergencies
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience preferred
DCI/BVP certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and critical thinking skills
Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and wound care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
