Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (schedule may vary between inpatient and outpatient settings)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
Document patient progress and adjust therapies as needed
Educate patients and families on communication strategies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Valid Speech Therapy license in Illinois
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
DCI/BVP certification preferred
Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and treatment
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in electronic medical records
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
