Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with 30-minute meal break; per diem scheduling

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely as prescribed
Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and report changes promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
Educate residents and families on health management and treatment plans

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of Maryland
CPR certification (BLS) required
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards
Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
