Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety
Engage residents in activities that promote physical and emotional well-being
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Document care provided accurately and timely

Qualifications

Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly patients

Education

Completion of a state-approved GNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and observation skills
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
