Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform accurate and complete patient assessments tailored to age and culture
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV therapies following safety protocols
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
Manage pain effectively and adjust care based on patient response
Collaborate with practitioners and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
Maintain thorough documentation and ensure medication safety
Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Illinois RN License required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certified through the Oncology Nurse Society required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
Chemotherapy experience preferred
Strong computer skills and EMR navigation ability

Knowledge & Skills

IV therapy and chemotherapy administration
Patient assessment and medication administration
Pain management techniques
Multi-tasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
