Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in on diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures alongside top cardiologists
Monitor hemodynamic data and patient vitals to ensure safe outcomes
Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile fields
Manage inventory of instruments and supplies to keep cases running smoothly
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and mentor new team members
Assist in both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Qualifications

ARRT-R or RCIS certification required (ARRT-CI or VI also accepted)
Active state license or certification as required by Illinois
Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department
BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire
ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Education

Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing cardiovascular procedures
Strong hemodynamic monitoring skills
Knowledge of cardiac and interventional radiology equipment
Proficient computer skills for charting and documentation
Excellent patient monitoring and communication abilities
