Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 35 guaranteed hours per week

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and independence
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust therapies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist license in California (or compact eligible)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute or skilled nursing setting preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for geriatric populations
