Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional occupational therapy support to patients in a rehab setting
Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patient independence
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the care team
Adapt activities and exercises to meet individual patient needs
Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification
Valid New Mexico state license or ability to obtain before start
Minimum of 1 year of recent COTA experience preferred
BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
Ability to follow treatment plans and modify as needed
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
Reliable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
