Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week (schedule may vary)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide advanced respiratory care in ICU, NICU, ER, and floor therapy settings
Manage mechanical ventilation and noninvasive ventilation for patients of all ages
Administer inhaled medications and nitric oxide therapy
Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in code blue and rapid response situations

Qualifications

At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
Active Missouri Respiratory Therapist license
BLS, RRT, and CRT certifications required
NICU experience preferred but not required (NRP required if applicable)
Ability to work 36 hours per week including holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of mechanical ventilation and critical care
Proficient in inhaled medications, heliox, and nitric oxide
Skilled in arterial puncture and noninvasive ventilation
Experience with Drager v500, VN500, Evita XL, Philips V60, V30
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
